Ready. Set. Reset. Art + Affirmation Cards. Four cards from the deck fanned out, including a watercolor castle reading 'Brighter days are ahead.', beside a sprig of eucalyptus.

Ready. Set. Reset.

Ready. Set. Reset. is a deck of 36 affirmation cards, original art paired with simple, grounding words, made to put something steady and hopeful into someone's hands when they need it most: before a procedure, during a hospital stay, through anxiety or grief, or in any hard stretch. Made for youth and adults alike. There's nothing to learn and nothing to play. You shuffle, draw a card, and take what it offers. One card in every deck explains even that.

This feeling is not forever.

A few cards from the deck

A small look at Tessa's work. Each card pairs her original art with a few grounding words.

A card with dark ink brushstrokes that reads, This feeling is not forever. This too shall pass.
A card with pink and yellow watercolor that reads, You are not the only one. You are not alone.
A graphite drawing of hands reaching, on a card that reads, Your body and mind are resilient.
A rose and copper abstract painting on a card that reads, Slow is still moving. Progress, not perfection.
A blue collage of a house under a stormy sky on a card that reads, You don't have to feel ready. This moment is enough.

A ten-year art journey

Ready. Set. Reset. was created by Tessa Nguyen, our Kindness Campaign Manager, drawn from her own decade of growing through hard things. She made the deck she wished she'd had, and built it into a program to reach anyone facing a hard moment.

Every card carries a piece of Tessa's own art, made across those ten years. The deck is, quite literally, a journey of growing through hard things, in one young artist's own hand.

An early still life of fruit, painted in soft color
Early: childhood
An abstract piece from the middle of the journey
Middle: finding a voice
A later graphite study of hands reaching toward one another
Recent: graphite
